A Newer Film: Kodak Pro Image 100
After going more than a month not shooting any film, I finally forced myself to get out and try a new film. I'd bought a roll of Kodak Pro Image 100 a while ago but hadn't yet used it, so I loaded it up and went to the beach.
I, once again, completely fell in love with the film. The colors were delightful, and the fact that it's a 100 ISO film made it a bit more of a challenge to use than 400 speed film (I like challenges).
It's also worth noting that by this time I had purchased a scanner so that I can save money in the long run. These are the first photos scanned on the new scanner, and I haven't done any post-processing to the images. (Who knows if the software performs post-processing for me, but I didn't do anything myself to them.)
I put my newfound knowledge of aperture and shutter speed to the test and tried to take some photos with fun bokeh and blur. The photos, in my view, turned out exceptionally well.
These photos were taken at a local wildlife refuge. It was almost sunset, so I was concerned that the lighting would work against me and the 100 speed film. Instead, the colors worked in my favor.
