What can I say? I was
really excited to try slide film, especially Ektachrome! I'd heard so much about Ektachrome that I couldn't wait to try it, but I forced myself to wait until I had a particularly exciting subject to photograph.
Philadelphia and New York seemed suitably exciting.

It just seemed right to take a weird photo of a random banana on the streets of New York City. |
My impression of Ektachrome? It does like blue scenes. My camera's meter seemed to work well and seems accurate enough, which was a relief. Since slide film has such small exposure latitude compared to color negative or black-and-white negative film, I was concerned that the photos would turn out poorly.
Needless to say, however, it all looked decent enough!
